	Random fish appeared?

I have not seen any fry in my tank but I added some plants that day so I am wondering if he hitched a ride. He's about 3/8" long, and dark grey with black vertical bands, a lighter belly. and uhh... well, that's all I can tell. He likes to hide in caves a lot. I know that's vague, but if you all could post pics of fry what it might be i would appreciate it.

Seriously though, are you positive it wasn't the offspring of your current fish? He could be the only survivor of fry. And you never saw any because the others were eaten. Just a thought. I thought about that, but it doesn't look like any of my other fish. I have a pair of mollies who have not given birth since I got them (the mommy is in a breeder net anyway), I have a couple of plecos (a BN abd a marbled) and a bunch of tetras (cardinal, phantom, silver tip, purple neon and black neon). It doesn't resemble any of those fish and this tank has not had fish all that long anyway. At least not long enough for them to spawn. Last edited by Light_Bright at 18-Dec-2005 07:50

It takes until they are about 1/4-1/2 an inch long to properly determine just the color...I think.
