Is it very stressfull for the fishes if you rearrange the tank? If it´s OK, how often can you do it?

BTW I´m talking about 5 to 10 gallons tanks

If you go slowly, and don't stir up a lot of gunk, i think it gives the fish a new perspective of their environment and new things to explore

I wouldn't go ape, like once a month should be ok.

I agree with Fallout here. Move things very slowly because stuff sometimes likes to accumulate under decorations in the tank. Are we talking about just decorations that sit on top of the gravel, fake plants, or live plants here? Fake plants are going to stir things up a bit moving them, but live plants, if you happen to have any, will REALLY stir things up because they can grow some INCREDIBLE root systems under the gravel. Also, some live plants do not like having their roots disturbed (like Crypts) and moving them can have detrimental effects on them.

Just be very slow, calculated, and careful moving things about. Always be aware of where your fish are so no casualties are created, and try to, as Fallout said, not "go ape"! LOL!

Thank you both! I just have three pretty small fake plants in my ten, and I was just thinking about changing them into silkplants instead.

I don´t now if I want to change in my 5g because I have an ADF in there. I belive they have a bad sight, so maybe it´s better to leave it the way she id used to have it

The silk plants tend to look much more realistic! I am sure you will like the change. As for the ADF, I have never owned one, but maybe leaving it's environment alone would be a good idea. Good luck with the change, and if you can, post some pics!
