| Reconstructing house; input on fish? | |

This means that someone will be using a jack hammer for two days, cutting out the old floor. The fish are in the attic (third floor). I know they'll notice something's going on, but would it have a negative inpact on them? |

It's better to be safe than sorry & if possible get some buckets to be prepaired for the worse. Goodluck & hopefully nothing bad happens. ![]() http://uk.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/s8xi5heh/my_photos http://www.geocities.com/s8xi5heh/classic_blue.html http://groups.yahoo.com/group/buzaqq/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/corydoras/ Member of the Malta Aquarist Society - 1970. http://www.maltaaquarist.com |

I would suggest dont turn the tank lights on a room lights, and add some stress coat as well this just might help a bit to steady them down. Added to the water it helps protect the fish's slime coat which can thin when the fish is stressed making it susceptible to parasites etc. Look in the water conditioner section to see if you have that product available in your country, or any similar ones which say they are beneficial to the fish's slime coat. ![]() Koi Last edited by Koi Keeper at 18-Jul-2005 09:41 Empty chairs at empty tables, the room silent, forlorn. |

The fish seem perfectly unaffected, even though I didn't get around to buying stress coat anymore. Just thought I'd let you know ![]() |
