Just got some new fish. From my sources, I am to believe these gorgeous guys are only newly discovered about 1 1/2 years now. There is absolutely nothing on the net about them yet. They are wild, and their heads and about half of their body is reddish orange. These are wild, and I got them shipped directly from SA. Can't wait to try and breed them, only problem is right now I don't know the sex ratio of them, and I could only get three shipped this time. Will be trying for more though. Anyone heard of these guys?

I will have some pics up soon, as soon as they settle down.

That is it, in that picture. But mine look much better than that pic. I did not know Jeff had those, let alone pics of them. I'll have to give him a call and see how many he has set up for breeding. Maybe he can bring some with him to the ACA for me.

Nice!! I'm pretty sure Jeff rarely sells the wild ones he has, unless they are really really small. Great find. How much did it cost you?

Sorry it took so long to respond, as I have been in Chicago at the Cichlid Convention the last four days.

My cost, lol. I can't tell you that, as I get them at a very reduced rate compared to most everyone else.

As for breeding, well this is why I am looking for more, as I believe I have 3 males right now, and need some more to try to get some pairs.
