I'm most concerned about what to use to clean the sand of waste. Is there any kind of vac that works well? |

You just have to exercise care when vacuuming so you suck up the gunk on the surface and not the sand itself. It's not difficult and well worth the effort... sand is much better then gravel, IMHO. ![]() |

The waste will be sucked up & the sand will stay at the bottom. It's very easy ![]() http://uk.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/s8xi5heh/album?.dir=b5f2 http://www.deathbydyeing.org/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/corydoras/ Member of the Malta Aquarist Society - 1970. http://www.maltaaquarist.com |
