Make #6 green water and BS, do the BS in cut off coke bottles and the green water in the surrounding water.

I'd leave labyrinths myself, they are a bit fiddly and a spawn of 40 odd (small spawn) would need more than a 10 to grow out in.

What about fancy guppies? I know it sounds childish and below you, however, i think if you choose the right parent stock, you could be onto a good thing
I saw imported trios going for about $40 recently. This is the beginning of the guppy craze

Well, filtration and substrate will ultimately depend on what type of fish you'll be breeding. More than likely, you'll just be using an air powered sponge filter and either little to no substrate, or marbles.

For every one tank you have breeders in, you will need 1-3 more tanks for grow out tanks for the fry. As many fish will eat their fry, and some will not spawn as long as there are more fry in the tank. Some fry, as they grow, will eat any new smaller fry in the same tank too.

Out of my 100 tanks, 20 are nothing but grow out tanks, and about 15-20 more are fry tanks.

you could try the other fish bidding site, no zebra plecs on there yet tho. but there is a WANTED section, so you could request in there.

They are not illegel in TX. The thing is, they are illegal to export out of their county, not import into ours.
