One in general that about a dozen of my fellow club members and I did, was ph differences on the common Krib. It appeared to all of us, that 7.0 ph was the optimal for equal sexed fry. It has been several years since we did this experiment, but I belive the higher the ph, the more males, and the lower the ph, the more females. But yes, there are many fish that do appear to have a sex ratio that depends on the ph. There is always a bigger fish... |
