Well in my tank, I ahve black gravel, whcih makes it hard to see my corys. C. Habrosus. Anyway, I dnt want to completlety change the substrate, because I like it and it brings out the colour of my gourami, much better. I was wondering about adding some white gravel to my tank. I want a mixture of black and white. The grabel is already quite deep, should I just add the extra gravel on top, or should I take some black out and add the white ?

I would take out and replace a small portion at a time.
