I believe that the snails that are in my tank are pond snails and I want to get rid of them. I heard that clown loaches eat snails, but I do not know if I can place them into my tank. I have a 20 gal with three Sword Tails, six Black Phantom Tetras, two ottos, and some plants. |

As far as the penny thing goes... the pennies have to be before a certain year to do any good but I can't remember which year... Good luck!~~~~~~~~ Last edited by ~jamie~ at 26-Mar-2005 17:26 |

Might be easier to just dose the tank with coppersafe or something like it. The tank is too small for clown loaches. Mike Last edited by Mike R at 26-Mar-2005 17:27 |

You will have to keep this up for a while as there will be snail eggs that will hatch later. I also would remove by hand as many as you could also.
