I have a beta in the 2 gallon tank and a bunch of snail egg sacks which I thot he'd eat but he doesn't. Are there any surefire fish that will devour these? The eggs are very tiny and were bred thru small snakes. Thanks Joe |

Why did you buy the snails in the first place? To clean your Betta tank from algae? Not knowing too much about it, I would suggest cleaning the tank by hand while housing the Betta in a temporary shelter until completed. Hope this helps, Ingo |

Everytime you see eggs just try to remove them. |

Seems inhumane but then again getting a fish to do the deed ain't to pretty either. O well. Guess ill just eatem myself :-) |

Guess ur gonna have to remove them by hand. I have heard they can be pesky, but then again, I have too many loaches in the fishy tank. I am constantly praying for a snail problem. :%) |

Didn't realize a 2 gal betta tank.. Move your betta with into another container with same water temp.. Then clean the glass well, remove the decor, and scrub with a used (and well rinsed) toothbrush.. give the gravel a light vacumn. Pour your betta back in.. If this is done once or twice a week for the next couple weeks, no more snails.. Cut down on food also. The Amazon Nut... |
