Hi there, I just recently set up my 55 gallon and ive had about 6 platys in there for about a week. I plan on adding 8 Zebra Danios, 6 lemon tetras, 4 swordtails, and 6 corycats. I have not bought test strips or anything but I was wondering what order should the fish be stocked in and when is it ok for me to put the next fish in? Also, is there any room in this tank for some yoyo loaches or is it stocked too much as it is? Thanks.

You probably should have started with the danios, as they're the most hardy of the fish you listed.

You will want to pick up some tesk kits, (not strips) or at least get it tested at your LFS for ammonia, nitrite and if possible, nitrAte.

You will not be able to add fish until your tank cycles, which can take up to 6 weeks.

Check out [link=This page]http://www.fishprofiles.net/faq/begin-cycling.asp" style="COLOR: #FFFF00[/link] for the basics of the nitrogen cycle.

Once your tank cycles, then you can add fish in
groups of 4-6.
I think you could easily add a nice large group of 6 yoyo loaches to your tank.
They are awesome fish.

After cycling the tank you can add some fish, like a school of Lemon Tetras & Corydoras.
You can also add 4/6 Yoyo's.
