I have a Aqua One AR380, which has a Trickle (Wet-Dry) Filter and has a tank capactity of 34L/9G. The dimensions of the tank are 36(h)x38(l)x25(w)cm. The tank will be planted with anubias, java fern and moss and will contain driftwood. I have been pondering for some time about what fish to stock it with and I would like some of your opinions. I was thinking of stocking it with:
2 Cherry Barbs
3 Corydoras Axelrodi OR 2 otos
They are the only fish which I am almost certain on getting. I now have no idea what to finish the stock off with! I was thinking of a school of 6 neon tetra, but I am not sure if I would be able to safely fit that amount.

Please commment and express your opinions freely! ^^

Thanks in advance!

I'd be concerned about putting such large corys in so small a tank, most all corys I've ever seen are really very active and I just don't think they'd be happy with that little playing room.

While I dont normally suggest ottos for smaller tanks if it must be one or the other go with the ottos, but only add them after the tank has been running for a year or so. Also make sure you have high enough water flow (add a powerhead if necessary) and the temp isnt too high as ottos prefer faster moving cooler water.

tetras dont really fit IMO as they're amazon rather than asian....you might try a small school of WCMM's although they're also very active and may be a bit cramped in that sized tank.

Appologies I had pulled up the wrong profile, these things happen when you've been awake for way too many days.

In that case corys do need schools larger than 3. Ottos too for that matter. If you're planning on stocking either ottos or corys they should be made the focus of the tank and keeping the largest school the tank will handle.
