lou![]() Fingerling Posts: 44 Votes: 0 Registered: 06-Sep-2004 ![]() | i have another thread in TETRA TALK about the compatability of odessa Barbs and Tetras such as head and tail lights My Parents are setting up a tank. work the size out wrong in the last post. it is a 20usg. i was after a bit of advice on the stocking My dad has fallen in love with tiger and odessa barbs and kulli loachs My mum on the other hand really likes tetras and other small fish like head and tail light tetra and rummy nose tetras and zebra danios They both can agree on corys wich is a good thing i suppose. Help me i'm so stuck and your suggestions would be appreciated lou ![]() :%) |

This is especially true with zebra danios and tiger barbs to keep down nippiness. Both are also very active fish. Personally I'd suggest a school of tetras and 3-4 kuhli loaches. That would be one choice from each of their lists, then perhaps they could decide on some sort of centerpiece fish together, like a dwarf gourami. ~~~~~~~~~~~~ There is water at the bottom of the ocean |

That way everyone gets fish that they like, and the tank will be devoid of aggressive species. Cories, kuhlis, and tetras are all pretty neat, and are perfectly compatible. Just be aware that kuhli loaches spend a lot of time hiding out. ![]() |
