I was looking at my tank and it seems empty to me because most of my fish are small. I was wondering what I could add but I think I am at my stocking limit. I have 5 danios (4 pearl, 1 zebra), 6 black neons, 6 cardinals, 1 angel fish, 6 cories (2 bronze, 2 blue cories {which arent blue at all} and 1 peppered corey {he somehow got into the bag, very long story}, and 3 ottos) I recently walked into a lfs and saw clown loaches and thought they looked cool but would grow too big for my tank. I am not quite sure tho if I can add any more fish...?

Just leave it alone. It sounds like a good tank you just need to be patient and let the fish grow. Also nice holding off the clown loaches, they would get too big.

No, the clownloach would get too big for the tank, and they should be kept in groups of at least 3-4, and require at least 100+ gallons, so sorry nope...

Why not add to your corries? I have some schwartzis, and they are quite active even more than my albinos...if you get some of those 4-6 you should have the bottom and sides of the tank stirred up, and they don't add too much to the bio load really....be sure to add an airstone as well in the bottom they will appreciate it and it will help

I already ruled clowned loaches out since I know they need a massive tank. I dont think i want to add to the cories because the bottom is filled up as it is and the cories just hide in a cave all day and i dont think there would be room for any more of them. I think i may add to the tetras.

well is the top the empty part of the tank? because if it is you could get a fish that stays closer to the top such as a dwarf gourami

It's better to fill the Corydoras schools & once they are in a school they'll be more active & don't hide all the time.

Well it started off when i got 6 blue cories (Corydoras nattereri). 3 of them died and so I went to replace them. My lfs no longer had them but i saw a tank labelled assorted cories and I saw what appeared to be blue cories in there. The blue cories i bought though were not blue in colour to begin with they were more of a brownish colour. So I picked up 3 more cories from the assorted tank. When I got home I noticed that the cories i picked up were a bit different. And so i realized they were bronze cories. And i found a peppered cory too which must have gotten into the bag. Although the sign said assorted cories so I am not surprised. But all of the cories school together anyways so what should I do with this situation?
