Hi there,

I'm getting two new tanks: 24"x12"x12"(54L) and 30"x12"x15"(88L). I'm planning to use 1mm gravel and AquaClear HOB filters on both. Would love to get some stocking suggestions from you guys. I'm planning to have smaller cories (c. Habrosus, maybe c. Panda in addition) in the 54L, and larger cories (e.g. c. Caudimaculatus, c. metae, c. Adolfoi) in the 88L.

I'm wide open on their above-bottom companions as long as they're peaceful (won't bother cories) and relatively small. Some options I'm considering:
- Pair of Bolivian Rams
- Pair of Keyhole Cichlids
- Endlers Livebearers
- Macculochi Rainbowfish
- Dwarf Gourami
- Rummynose Tetras
- Flame tetras
- White Fin (bentosi) tetras

Thinking about this has been driving me , so any ideas would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

in the larger tank go with some neon tetras as well as some glolight tetras (6-8) of each?) and maybe a male betta or female betta that you really like (I got Lucky at wal-mart and they keep getting similar ones to him kind of looks plakat? but quite gentle), and maybe 6 Harlequin Rasboras and don't forget the corries I really can't say that I have a favorite cory these days, I think I'm in love with all of them But, if you go and get say 6-10 corries and you can get them to breed:%)

For the other tank, you could always look into maybe heck I don't know a combination of the above? or some guppies would be nice And I'd see if you can get the adults in the above tank to breed and use this one as a grow out tank for the fry, or even use it as a nursery/spawning tank for the bottom:%) I wish I had room to set up another tank for the metae fry
Best of luck and have fun,
heidi

Thanks for the suggestions, everyone.

Alex: I've never seen a bumblebee goby in my local LFS's. Are they pretty common in Oz? They do look cute, but I read that they need brackish water, which may not be compatible with the cories?

I saw some juvenile Keyhole Cichlids recently and really like the look of them. I'm thinking about a pair of them for the bigger tank with some cories and tetras. Do you think they will get too big for that size tank (I know they get bigger than the Rams)? Do they get agressive like most cichlids when they breed (assuming the LFS knows how to sex them)?
