Yesterday I was watching my fish when I noticed these strange little white worms swimming around in the tank, they are really small. Then one of my fish ate one.

Do you know what these things are?

When you do your water changes make sure you're pushing the gravel vac all the way to the bottom of the tank if it's non planted, and as far down as is safe if you've got a planted tank.

What sized tank and what is the stock? It wont hurt the fish to eat them.

those are caused by overfeeding. siphon the gravel and reduce your feeding and they'll go away...if you have any fry they'll eat them up!
