Tanker, are you doing this just to make everyone green with envy? Not sure if I could deal with the tank maintanence. Ohhh, spawning angels? Why type, and good luck with the spawn.

Do south american cichlids count as large fish with attitudes? Do 45 gallon breeders count as small tanks? How about 125 gal tanks? Do those count as large tanks? Anyway, between the sa cichlids and the africans, I think I beat you to the punch.

idi0t, I have a 125 gallon with neons, glowlights, harlequins, corries, and a few other things and I can tell you it is an awesome siteI really do plan on adding some more neons to the tank

As for tank busters and demon fish, uh tanker already has those he really doesn't have too many small tanks i don't thinkthink those were gotten rid of in June

Now Tanker, i'm glad you can finally admit to having MTS

Sell off most of the small tanks and get a few biiig tanks to replace 'em. Either massive community tanks (what does 120gal of neons look like?) or start keeping the tank busters, or large fish with attitudes and appitites.

53 aquaria? In one house?

At this rate you'll be the next Ad Konings ... although by the time he reached 250, he ended up buying a new house just for the fish tanks ...

You realise you're making a LOT of people on this forum insanely jealous, don't you?

With 53 aquaria, I could become the King Of Panda Corys in the UK ... wow, think of all the babies I could raise from Mata Hari's relentless spawning antics

Right now I only have 26 tanks up and running. I need to build another filtration system before I can get the rest up and running. As for "keeping up" its not that bad if you have everything on a centralized system, 1 filter to clean sure makes life easier. Also having bare tanks makes a huge difference. Instead of having to do gravel vacs, a quick dip with a siphon to remove the mulm and left over food particles and you are done. As for the fish store bit, am currently working on my tax license and dba, more for the tax reasons than anything else, but who knows. As for the remaining tanks, I should have all tanks running and stocked by Xmas, at least thats the current plan.

Well, here we go again. It's not like I don't have enough tanks already, but, well, you know the routine. Went to the local Petco yesterday to get some solid airline for some drops for the rack system. What do you think I saw but a remodeled store and a sign asking for donations for the old modular system which had just been replaced. Well hell, it's not like me to pass up a good deal! $145 later I am trying to figure out where to put 9, yes thats right 9, modular units (thats 27 more tanks BTW). Looks like I got ahold of that sweetwater air pump just in time. However now it looks like I am going to be shopping for another swimming pool pump. For those of you keeping count, this brings the tank total to 53 now! The sad part is that I now have more tanks than the LFS and keeping this in perspective, I have more than twice the gallon capacity than they do! Help me please, I think I am seriously ill.

Actually, its the new african wing, hehe. Got some nice cherry zebras just foaming to move in and make me rich. Between them, the yellow labs, livingstonis and the frontosa I should have a full house again. Oh, did I mention my angels are spawning as well, hmm, may need to go get a few more tanks, hehe.

Excellent deal! Man, I'm jealous... if I had room to put that many tanks I prolly would have done the same thing (came close to getting a 200g for $200 from an LFS that was moving, but no place to put it ) Enjoy them for me!

Tanker,

Well, I guess that makes you almost legally insane, but in a good way

It is time to invite us all to a field trip so we can admire your collection. Maybe we would make a donation so you can continue to finance the water – food – electricity - and all the other stuff needed to run your 53 tanks. Plus the cost for the therapist to treat MTS.

While being jealous on one hand I am also glad not to be in your shoes. I already spend 8 hours a day just thinking about setting up one new tank, I couldn’t handle 27 of them at once.

Anyway, all I wanted to say was:

Have Fun

Now thats what you call MTS!!! Congrats on a great deal. I would definately be lost trying to fill that many tanks, but would have fun trying.
