I have a 75 gallon tank with a trio of firemouths, trio of kribs,6-7 cories, and a common pleco ( soon hoping to get a cooler pleco ). I was wondering what else i could put in there? I thinking of a large school of barbs of some sort or along those lines.

I think the bala shark is one cool fish! They like to school so more than one would be good. They can be agressive but not usually. Aparently they can jump 6 feet in the air so a heavy cover is needed. Good luck!

Thanks. I myself think that Bala sharks would get to large for 75 and the checkered barbs are pretty small they might get eaten.

Something else you could try are Rainbows or Giant Danios. I keep them with my Convicts in my 55.

You could try a school of green barbs. They are the hardiest of the barbs and would complement the tank nicely.

Have you also thought about loaches?

Well for the bottom i just plan to have a large shoal of cories. I might go with a school of around 10-14 Rosy barbs and a school of 8-10 tiger barbs.
