So I drive down my road daily and all the time I see a tank in this trailer of junk in front of this house. Today I resolved to checking it out aparently they were going to trash it. So the man said you can have it, took it home rinsed it out bleached it for a while then rinsed it and washed it rinsed it and filled it and declorinated it. and now letting it sit... dont know what to do with it. Oh it is around 35 gallons.

Thoughts?

you can give it to me or make it a native fish tank that would be my choice. [img src='/images/forums/halo.gif' border=0][img src='/images/forums/halo.gif' border=0]

Just be patient & see if it leaks. You have plenty of time to think what you'll put in it.

You could make it a hospital tank, quarintine tank, or breeding tank, fry grow out tank. So many options. Congratulations on your find.

Thanks guys, I had it filled for 12 hours and then drained it and painted the back. I have to devise a stand for it still then I am going to let it sit for two days as recommended. I would like to breed and was thinking maybe breeding my killifish would be fun, possibly some of the more ornate ones. I have always wanted to breed cory but I dont think mine are old enough yet. I have a male gourami and two female blues and could possibly do them. Choices choices.

After I stress test it I am going to pull the red finned shark out of the semi aggressive tank he is chasing down the Bala Sharks all three of them and I am not sure how much stress they are getting from it. Of course I have the option to move my 20gl brackish river tank to it, but I think the smaller tank for brackish will be better for now.

This is currently the biggest tank I have, and thought of possibly going to a saltwater setup for it, or a cichlid tank. But if you think this is lucky I am getting another one thats 30+ from a friend whos son passed and she wants it to go to someone she knows. Its bad that he died but lucky for me to be givin the tank.

So this one is tank five and then when I get the other that will be 6 wheee. I would kinda like to be able to support my habit by breeding but I really dont know what would be good to breed that I will be able to move. Anyways I am going to set it up and stare at it like marble till it tells me what it wants to become

Thanks again CHEERS
