i'm up grading my tank, i'm trying to buy second hand i've seen 2, 4ft tanks for sale, one is 48 long 15high 18 wide
the other is a more standard 48long 18 high 15 wide.

Both calculate to about 45gallons uk would one be better then the other?

fish:
1 angel
7 h. rasbora
9 corys
1 clown pleco
dwarf gourami
5 neon rainbows
1 otto

cheers shekoi

That's tough, 18" wide would have more surface area for oxygen exchange, but the angels like tall tanks, so the 18" tall would be good. I've read that angels should have a minimum of an 18" tall tank, so given the fact that you do have an angel maybe you should go for that one.

i agree with crazyred. given your stock the taller tank would probably be better. though you could go with option 3 and just get both.

Go with the wider tank... The 15" wide one is too narrow and will be hell to aquascape. 15" in height is fine for angels.

I'm not your neighbor, you Bakersfield trash.

I agree with Cory Addict & would go with the wider one. Angels prefer higher tanks, but 15" is fine.
