kj fishy-finn,

I really would like to help you but both posted links conclude in:

The page cannot be displayed

Can you change the link to a page that is accessible (given that it is not only me) and then guide us to the details?

Thanks,

IMO the 12 gal. is better for the fish, as it's longer & not high as the hexagon tank.

The 12 gallon tank would be your best bet
It provides more surface room and is a larger tank, thus you can have more fish in the tank...

I'm glad to see that you are going for something larger

think we could convince you to go with a uh 100 gallon

i say...go for the biggest aquarium u can afford...if ur a beginner..neither of those 2 will i ever recommend..they r just too small to maintain a gud equilibrium in there...they r not gud for beginners. the more u gain experience...the more ull know what to do in cetain condition/s. but if u already have an experienced...ill go with the 12g tank...it has more swimming surface area fro the fish...but if u prefer the 7g hex...u go for an angelfish. gud luck

I'd say the 12 gallon eclipse, I have an 37 gallon eclipse and it's an EXCELLENT system! (and it's adaptable! if you need to add to it its accomidates that to a certian degree)
also it's bigger and longer making your fish selection easier. And FYI dont put angels in the hexagon, they need something like a 18-20 gallon tank most of the will get big. (I read to many posts on this web page)

i have the esperience with my 20 gallon that has been up for like 2 years now. i was just looking for a tank that would be nice to keep some female bettas in since i love bettas. they are really fun to keep. i had no intention on putting in an angel, i have been persuaded against that idea and then loved the idea of bettas when i was reading the Advanced Betta Care section with all the neat pictures and thought it would be fun to have some female bettas. i had a male when i was like 8 and he lived for 4 years, but they are just amazing fish and so beautiful.
that might have been going overboard with this comment too.

i think i will go with 2 since like one of you said it has a great filter system. i also like the fact that there is more room for decorating. i am very creative when i comes to planting a tank(with fake plants that is). you can really express yourself when arranging a tank.
