It is having 3 kissing gouramis (they are about 6 inch in length) and about 15 male guppies at the moment. I will be puttin in a few bristlenose catfish in a few weeks. Not too sure what else to put in there?? Was thinking of some neons??? What else? Also I have an aqua-one 620 with 3 clown loaches in and 2 cories, 2/3 bristlenoses and a few little fish (whiteclouds, neons) What fish could take the main fish??? I was thinking of maybe putting in one Angelfish (black) in the four footer. Then for the aqua one I am not too sure. Any Ideas guys???? and girls????? |

Neon tetra disease will take your whole tank down. If you like the neon's an alternitive would be glo-fish. ]http:// [/link] (eg. [link=Glo-Fish)These our geneticly changed fish so there is no dye or other painful procedure. "A noble spirit embiggens the smallest man" Simpsons |

How about cardinals instead of neons. I wouldnt reccomend those glo fish as they are still not natural and genetically modified. Cardinals would go well in the 4ft tank. How big is the 4ft tank? Around 50 or so gallons? And for the other tank is how many gallons? Clown loaches need a big tank. How big are they right now? Last edited by ericm at 21-Aug-2005 10:20 |

I'm pretty sure glo-fish are genetically altered so don't get them...then again I'm not positive. Anyway, in a 4 foot tank I think that a school of 10 Cardinals would be great. Fill out your cory school to 8 also (if they are in the 4 footer already) Also, 1 black angelfish might be ok...but I tihnk they need company and you dont ahve room for company so drop him (I think) I tihnk you should take the clown loaches back as they get huge and need at least a 125 for a proper schoal. Get only 2 BN cats as more would clutter the bottom IMO. So your tank will look like this... 3 Kissing Gouramis 10 Cardinal Tetras 15 Male Guppy's 8 Cory's 2 BN Cats |

As for the 3 clown loaches they are only about an inch and a half and will be put into a four foot tank once bigger. SO that is not a problem. As for swordtails. Not into them really sorry. I am still thinking on what else. Maybe some more corries I am thinking should go alright but then I want something that will swim at the top of the tank as it looks really really really bare up there! |
