Could I put anything into this tank?

1 angelfish
1 african butterflyfish
7 Corys ( three albino one peppered and three bronze)
3 Ottos
1 Small Rapheal Catfish

I'm thinking of snails or more corys

Any help will be nice

Angel Eel

Ditto what megil said...I take it was just a slip....

First thing I'd do is fill out the schools of corys and ottos properly before adding anything else if tank size permits.

Corys will shoal together among different species but they really do much better in a full school of 6 or so of their own kind.

if it is your 29 gallon tank I would say a small school of rummy nose 5-6 would look good

tanksize is a good idea, but if it is a 29, maybe some scizzor tails.

Lmao, omg how stupid am I....

Yes it is my 29 Gallon, I just find it so empty with really one one mid swimmer my angel....The butterflyfish is on top corys are on bottom Rapheal catfish is always hiding and the ottos are small =p

Here are two ideas I have thought of

Add
3 Corys (peppered) or one of each kind bringing it to ten corys.

AND/ OR Cherry barbs or green tetras Will these fellas work?

Like I said I am trying to fill in the middle with the lone Angel fish.

Sorry about my mistake lol

Angel Eel

If anyone can suggest something that with fill out the middle as well as being able to fill up my Cory habitat, I would love you. I am not the experienced with adding fish to angel tanks that I don't already have.

Thanks
Angel Eel

P.S I don't know if this was known before but all of my corys were rescued thats why they are all odd.

this may overstock the tank but 3-4 dension barbs would be a great mid water fish.

My self I am partial to Gourami really hardy fish, and a lot of fun if you get one male of the blue persuasion because he is more calm than the gold but get gold and blue girls and you will have added colour and pinash!

Plus a lot of activity which will force the cory to heard a little though being on bottom there pretty fearless sometimes! I have a cory that bullies my male gourami... but i have said it before and will say it again.... I think the gourami is humoring him.

Get a shoal of one of the deeper-bodied tetras, such as Diamonds, Bleeding Hearts, Lemons, etc... They will swim around in front and be easily visible, making the tank look more active.

Cherry Barbs are midline fish and would help bring out some color.

I would probably say tetras as well. Be careful which tetras you get since you have angelfish and they do eat some types of tetras. They are lots of fun to watch.

Hmm I say take care of the corys before getting any other fish,

also you have a butterfly fish, they have pretty large mouths and are quite predatory, so they may try and snack on the teras when they swim up every once in a while. But i may be entirely wrong I am not certain just how large a fish must be to escape being eaten by the butterfyfish, though I have heard of guppies being used as food. If I am wrong i apologize must ahve got my info mixed up somewhere.

HTH,
Megil.

I would say 1 alb 1 bronze though they are the same I am not sure if the albino colour morph will cause them to not school (dont know how to spell it right so i used the wrong word hehe) But the four will for sure, after that, send me your peppered to add to my four Kidding, i dont know if uy have the space to increase your peppereds by adding three...

I almost want to put gravel platforms just so the corys have more places in my tank. Anyone know the best type of "toys" for them? caves wood grass? I saw some "amphibious grass" is that stuff good for them? I like watching them play

Caves are good... get a few terracotta pots and lay them on their sides... make good caves. Broad leafed plants. My cories love to "sun bathe" on the leaves of my anubias plants.

I know Cali has lots of driftwood pieces... make for great cory playgrounds. Arches and pieces with places to explore are great for cories.
