And an angelfish or two. Also more neons for the 10g. Plants will be here this week for the 55g. Hopefully getting a 48g soon! I too wish I had the money, time, and space for lots of tanks. I want a 125g or bigger. I have plans (or dreams actually) for a "fish room" someday when I have my own house. I think it would be alot more interesting to visit the people on this website's tanks instead of a huge aquarium. Add me to the invite list! :%) |

I'm getting tired of identifying these plecos. Originally I was told they were L103 but the picture I was sent in email was L134. The plecos I was given could be called fry and quickly disspeared to hide in my tanks all day. I was also told the markings would change as they got older and I assumed more toward that of the adult pic I saw. Now they are more like 2-3", come out frequently, and are definitely not either of those 2. I had no idea where to look next. Going by the pic someone else posted they are panaque maccus. Luckily I barely spent anything to get them and don't really care what they look like so long as they stay small. Yellow-orange striped plecos are still cute and colorful. I'm pretty sure they originated from azgardens as they have the same L103 label with L134 pic and say the markings will change with age. Everyone needs a few lessons in pleco identification. ![]() |

If you use scientific names, please include the common name too. I'm currently keeping 4 tanks of approx. 40 gals. 30 gal. [link=http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v244/aqh88/fish/pleco/pleco.jpg]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v244/aqh88/fish/pleco/pleco.jpg" style="COLOR: #C000C0[/link] I should have taken some when I moved them. They were probably less than 1" when I got them so too small for good pics then. At first they were so skittish you couldn't breathe while looking at them or they'd be gone but now I occasionally catch the ones in the 90g swimming from caves to driftwood in full light. The 2 in the 20g were originally added to the 29g and never grew until moved but the others are around 3" now. I could probably corner the ones in the 20g but they are still quite small. I'm not for certain why they didn't grow. The only real difference is the 29g had yoyos or maybe this chunk of wood tastes better. ![]() |

The pond ( about 3000 gal in the tropical house - read ex conservatory is nearly ready to go too. Havent actually figured out how im gonna cycle it yet.)I probably wont stock till summer.
