How about my favorite kind of setup, a South American community tank? Here's a sample list:

6 Corydoras catfish
8 tetras (a species under two and a quarter inches would be best in there, because of size restrictions)
2 rams (German or Bolivian) or Apistogramma cichlids
1 dwarf pleco (such as a bristlenose)

And when he gets to Heaven, to Saint Peter he will tell: "One more Marine reporting, Sir! I've served my time in Hell."

hi dude_dude,

The angelfishes alone would already be stocked for a 20gal because I had 2 in a 25gal b4 and it was pushing already. Mollies and Swordtails grow to a decent size of 3inches+ each.

It would be a packed bus when they all reach their potential size Even at their smaller sizes I dought the filter would keep up with the cycling.

I would definitly agree with sirbrooks recomendations and it sounds really decent.

Yeah, the stocking list you mention should *just* work. You really can't add any more fish than that, you're pushing it for only twenty gallons. However, all of those fish are compatible, so things should work out if you keep up with your tank maintenance.

A bunch of harlies, a pair of dwarf gouramis and a dwarf pleco. And yes Harlies are harlequin rasboras, sometimes called red rasboras, hardy little guys. mine got big, maybe an inch and a half. a school of eight should do well
