I did like to keep some Discus. That's the fish my husband's tricked me into wanting by showing me some really really nice onces, but they are like Rs. 8000 for a full grown pair. Rs. 46 to a $$.

I did also like to keep Mono Angels but figure, I might need a separate set up.

On my wish is is also a Clown fish and a SW set up.

A Zebra Pleco... Those looks completly stunning on photos, but imagine those are the best looking plecos, even to be the centerpiece of an aquarium...

Too bad my 55g is inappropiate for the plecos big size..

Zebra plecs are actually not so huge for plecos. Good luck finding them, especially at an affordable price though =P

I believe zebra plecs only get to be about 3-4 inches and they don't eat algae. Correct me if im wrong of course. 150 dollars is best price i've heard for them.

oh and i should post my list of non-catfish eh?
apistos (A.vejeti, A.macmasteri and panda apisto) and thomas's cichlid, jewel cichlids, shellies, killies and chain loaches.

cfd

edit: yes zebra plecs could easily fit in a 55g because they only get to about 4''

Four inches is really stretching it. I'd say 3.5", tops. Also, there are bids for indivduals cheaper than 150 on aquabid.<--(got his for the severly reduced price of 75 bucks )

Anyhoo, there are quite a few fish that I desire but, either due to extremes in price or size (or just plain unavailabilty), are unavailable to me:

goldy pleco
chameleon whiptail (frikkin awesome)
african lungfish
fahaka/mbu/stanley pool puffer
hi fin dragon megalancistrus
green neons
apisto muia
any species of victorian cichlid
orange chromide
rays, any kind will do (damn californai)
hyp. inspector
tamandua knife
syno angelicus small spot
leopoldi angel
galaxy otoclinus
blue eyed panaque

Hi there, welcome to FP.
I would like some Yoyo loaches. I have already got 4 Clown Loaches.
Good Luck on your new tank, your Angels should look lovely in it. With perhaps some Blue Rams/Bolivian Rams/Keyholes/Kribs/Blue Paradise Cichlid all of these are fairly peacefully (if that is a word you can call a cichlid) with your Angels.

Welcome to the forums! I'm sure you will learn a lot by browsing here, so stick around. Nice username, by the way.

As for fish... don't get me started! Here's a partial list of the fish I want:

Cochu's blue tetras
Garnet tetras
Torpedo barbs
Bolivian rams
Queen arabesque plecos
Zebra plecos
Rhino plecos
Leopard frog plecos
Any colorful Apistogramma species
Brochis britskii and multiradiatus
Any freshwater or brackish pufferfish
Mudskippers
Various pencilfish species
Numerous Corydoras species
Shelldwelling cichlids
Yoyo and clown loaches

Those are the fish I can think of off the top of my head, though there are tons more that I want. I actually have access to many of these fish, but my one tank sort of limits the ones I can keep.

And when he gets to Heaven, to Saint Peter he will tell: "One more Marine reporting, Sir! I've served my time in Hell."

Four off the top of my head and the reason I don't have them

- Pearl gouramies (every time I go to the LFS I trust they don't have them in)
- Dwarf freshwater puffer (need to set up a species tank)
- Kribs (Like them a lot, but a little worried that they'd decimiate my community tank)
- Electric yellows (need to set up an mbuna tank)

I am a newbie and I have really enjoyed browsing this forum for the past few days. I enjoy reading and seeing pics of all the fish I would love to have. I wish I had enough aquariums for all the fish that I want.

I really want a tank of Clown Loaches and I would love some fancy bettas. Oh, and some big Bala sharks.

My husband just got a 55 gallon that we have not set up yet to indulge his new interest in Cichlids. We looked at some tonight and I like the angels.
