 | What happened to the diatoms? |
Wfish  Hobbyist Posts: 58 Kudos: 25 Votes: 18 Registered: 30-Jan-2005 | This is just plain weird. Recently I noticed that the diatoms on my tank's plastic sides had almost completely disappeared. What could have caused this? Note: I have one guppy and one otto. Could the otto have eaten all those diatoms in the time of a few days??  |

Also, increases in the amount of light, current, etc could cause the diatoms to disappear from that one spot...
