I'd like to stock colorful fish and not big and hungry fishes... after having 2 goldfish i don't want that kind of all-eating individuals ![]() The availiability of rare fishes is out of question! ![]() I was thinking: 2 Honey gouramies 3 Pearl Gouramies 4 Dwarf gouramies 2 Blue gouramies *** do they get agressive? ** 3 Angelfish What about this? whats everyone opinion? :%) |

It would be better if you could get a male and a female. Since females are hard to find, I would just get one. I had 2 males in a 10g and they fought constantly. I've heard of people putting 2 males in a 55g and they still tried to kill each other, even with all the space. If you want to try 2, make sure there are lots of hiding spaces. I dont know about mixing the different types of gouramis. What about some other types of fish besides only gouramis. I'm getting a 55g soon and I am going to get a few schools of fish and maybe a couple angelfish. There are many kinds of tetras that are very colorful. I'm sure the schooling is fun to watch too. I like rummynose tetras and cardinals. Like other people would suggest, go to your lfs and pick out fish you like, then come on here and see if the ones you like are compatable. There are many choices for a 55g. ![]() |
