I've been browsing an aquarium fish book I have and came across Killifishes. Can someone point me in the direction for the basic care information for these guys. I can't seem to find any info on FP I've got an empty 20 gal. and was thinking of trying something new. Thanks in advance!

Wow after reading about general maintenence, there very similiar to a Betta I think. I think a 20 ga. would be fine for some Killies, maybe get a divider, that would be a cool setup. Thanks for the link!

Just do your research on each killi you are thinking about, as several get over 6 inches. But, many will do well, and even breed in tanks as small as 2 gals. In fact, several of the largest killi breeders in the US, use 2 1/2 gal tanks for breeding theirs. One such person I know, has over 75 2 1/2 gal tanks, and does nothing more than killis.
