fishrneat![]() Fingerling Posts: 34 Votes: 0 Registered: 02-Mar-2005 ![]() | I have a 10 gallon tank with: Many small snails (constantly breeding) A guppy( cant determine gender) 2 Neon tetras A glowlight tetra I was thinking of getting some more tetras, a male and female guppy ( want to breed) and some sort of other fish that will be at harmony with the fish. Any suggestions? Fishrneat ![]() |

Posts: 2623 Kudos: 2462 Votes: 337 Registered: 29-Mar-2003 ![]() | Go with a tank of all Neon Tetras, it will look awesome ![]() Then go out and get yourself a 20 or 29 gallon tank and get 2 or 3 female guppies and 1 male guppy...then stand back and wait for the population explosion...just make sure you know of an lfs that will take them in, otherwise you will eventually end up doomed ![]() Oh and welcome to FP! hml EDIT: I'll post a couple of pictures of a male and female guppy when I get home so you can see the difference. hmlLast edited by hml at 03-Mar-2005 16:16 "I've got a great ambition to die of exhaustion rather than boredom." fishrneat![]() Fingerling Posts: 34 Votes: 0 Registered: 02-Mar-2005 ![]() | Isnt a ram a malawian chilid? Dont I have to keep them in a special tank? As for the gouramies would a dwarf gourami male be suitable? I had a dwarf gourami before and i fell in love with them |

Tetra's need to be in schools, of at least 6. http://uk.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/s8xi5heh/album?.dir=b5f2 http://www.deathbydyeing.org/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/corydoras/ Member of the Malta Aquarist Society - 1970. http://www.maltaaquarist.com |
