If they are large neons and small angels and there is plant cover i would say they are fine. I keep neons with my discus and angel in my 75g tank, no problems, still got all 13 neons and its been 8 months so must be ok LOL Come Play Yahtzee With Me! http://games.atari.com Http://www.myleague.com/yahtgames |

katieb![]() Fish Addict Posts: 697 Votes: 69 Registered: 03-Jul-2004 ![]() | Every fish except for the Chinese algae eater is compatible. The CAE will get big and aggressive, i dont reccomend him. I'll do graffiti, If you sing to me in French. |
Tetra Fan![]() ![]() ![]() Mega Fish Posts: 1203 Kudos: 1081 Votes: 63 Registered: 11-Apr-2004 ![]() | Most of the fish mentioned are compatible, yes. Most of the cichlids are not, however. In a 60 gallon tank I would have... 3 Pterophyllum scalare-Angelfish 1 Heros Severus-Severum (gold or green depends which you like more) or 1 Thorichthys meeki-Firemouth 2 Mikrogeophagus Ramirezi-Blue Ram or Mikrogeophagus Altispinosus-Bolivian Ram 10 Corydoras Adolfoi or 10 Corydoras Schwartzi 10 Paracheirodon axelrodi-Cardinal Tetra 1 Ancistrus triradiatus-BN Pleco These (I think) are all compatible fish Last edited by Nameless at 24-Jul-2005 11:37 |

katieb![]() Fish Addict Posts: 697 Votes: 69 Registered: 03-Jul-2004 ![]() | Am I the only one who thinks he has no right to complain? We're a free site(well premie membership is optional). We are under no obligation to help you at all. Yet we've scoured the profiles looking for fish that are to your liking(something you could have done easily). If we are doing such a terrible job, then maybe you should do some research yourself, and I wouldnt expect to get much more help here either. No one likes it when someone asks for help and then tells you its not good enough when you bend over backwards. IIRC you pulled this act in another thread as well. Perhaps since we can "do better" you could tell us what fish interest you? How many fish are you looking for? Do you want big small medium fish? Are you going to do an Amazon Biotope? Angels actually come from soft water (ph 6-7 gh 100ppm or less) and prefer it over harder water. Come Play Yahtzee With Me! http://games.atari.com Http://www.myleague.com/yahtgames |

katieb![]() Fish Addict Posts: 697 Votes: 69 Registered: 03-Jul-2004 ![]() | Swordtail - Xiphophorus hellerii Hardy fish, and very colorful. Tends to be prolific, but your angels should help with that. Various patterns and colors. Males have an extended tail fin, that looks like a sword. omavus![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Fingerling Posts: 19 Kudos: 9 Votes: 7 Registered: 25-Jun-2005 ![]() | I've got a 2 foot square aquarium filled with moderately hard water in which I have 2 juvenile Angels. I want to turn it into a community tank. So I was just wandering whether someone is capable of suggesting me a good mix INCLUDING the 2 juvenile Angels. Hope to have a lot of replies. P.s. reasons for your choices are GREATLY appreciated! |

omavus![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Fingerling Posts: 19 Kudos: 9 Votes: 7 Registered: 25-Jun-2005 ![]() | Also, if you would give me the latin name instead of the common name of the fish it would be much better for me to identify the correct suggested fish. Maybe I'm asking too much? But hey ... this site is ranked #2 among the greatest tropical fish sites, so its members should live up to the name! |
