Coffee table fish tanks have been out for years. Keep looking you will find bathroom sink tanks and toilet tanks. I have also seen chair tanks too.

They really are a bad idea, all the movement and people putting ther behinds of feet on there tank must annoy them. Incidently, looking at one of these tanks in a magazine on an airplane got me saying I wanted a fish tank, my mom said properly research it and I could have one for my birthday...shortly after getting my tank, I went to FP for help sotcking it full

Length of time those tanks probably stay that pretty and clear looking... I give it 1-2 weeks. Especially with goldfish and it says change the carbon every 3months.

and that's one of the nicer table aquariums.

And you wouldn't sit on it or put your feet on it if you had half a brain cell. It's kinda neat.

Never have really seen anything like that before. I didnt think it was such a good idea. Looks cool but probably harder to maintain.

I think they're cool. I wouldn't put any fish in it that are skiddish though. However, it would provide a new way to look at fish.

Another problem is that gravel vacs would be a pain, have to take the top glass off every time. Also, you would have a cord(s) running from the table to outlets. Something you usually don't have with coffe tables.

Anyway, I think its a neat thing, if taken care of properly.

Wouldn't put goldfish in one, but WCMMs might be nice. Overall I think it might be a bad idea.

Its a cool idea, if you dont have things that would be hazardous to it such as pets, SISTERS or myself...
If I ever got one, it would be destroyed within a week.

They need to think of something better to put fish in like hm....a computer desk with really thick glass.

I'd love that
I love the idea, I'd like to see one up and running first....

They have a light in that corner thing. I think the idea is nice, but when it comes down to it, it would be too much of a pain to deal with to actually have longterm. Most coffeetables are put in well-lit rooms. Mine is close to a big picture window. Can you imagine scrubbing the algae that'll be sure to grow? Blech.

They shade the glow of it with their mossy-misty costumes,
They wear masks of silk, porcelain, brass, and silver,
So as not to mislead with their own, ordinary faces.
