afraid to ask for tanksize, but most of the fishes are not nocturnal but the knife, so feed with the lights on, is ok. just give the knife some food at night.

Please listen to the replies from your other post. Return your fish and buy some smaller, nice fish like guppies or something. I'm assuming you haven't gotten a tank that's like...75 gallons or more...

Edit: The fish aren't exactly greatly compatible too.

I have also give you exactly the same advice. Paul please listen to what we are telling you, otherwise you will be heading for a total tank wipe out.

Have a look in [link=My Profile] http://www.fishprofiles.com/forums/member.aspx?id=1935[/link] for my tank info

You may find that your Black Ghost Knife Fish will not come out to eat at all with a Rainbow Shark present.

I have had both together and it wasn't until I removed the Rainbow Shark that my BGK finally began bottom feeding, prior to that it was hand fed of an evening in a corner of the tank because it would not venture any further from behind the filter.

Please consider a tank upgrade.

Cheers
Crusha

Too many fish in a small tank = trouble & fish deaths.
