Hello all. I have a female "blue orchid" holding for at least 2 weeks now. I aquired a group exactly 2 weeks ago and 1 F was holding already(very early). I have spawned mbuna and tropheus before, but all were natural with no success(ate fry) . I would like to strip as I'm kinda familar with stripping cichlids for my Syno cats, and would like to keep in net/box in main tank until I get a growout ready. But with the Synos I stripped after 5 days. Not sure about time for the cichlid kids. Any info on lenght of time before stipping peacocks is greatly appreciated.

Yeah I kinda found that out a week or so ago. I went downstairs to find the holding female "looking to eat". 3 weeks is the magic # for the gal I had holding. Not sure if she spit or swallowed, no fry around. Thanks to the both of you, as I will strip at 20-21 days next time.
