Does anyone know where I can purchase a fry net? Neither of my LFS' have them. I can't find them at bigals or anywhere else. Where can I order one?

No, what I'm looking for is a net to remove the fry from one tank and transfer them to another. All of the nets I find have too large of holes.

Dempsey- try a baby brine shrimp net, works for me... the holes are relatively small very small in fact and I bought mine at petco... so maybe petsmart or something like that should have one... good luck

Then Dempsey what you need is on my first post up there as those are for collecting things as small as Baby Brine Shrimp and they are what I use to catch not only my fry, but corries, plecos, and any other fish I feel I need to catch...all you have to do is click the names of each store and you will have the actual pictures.

Why use nets? Whip up a tupperware bin or something.

I don't use nets for catching fry, they are too delicate for it and too harsh for them, you should give them exemption for that. I agree with COLN, why don't you try tupperware.

dont know if this would help but was browseing sites and found that you can make your own net for fry from a bridal vail you make a bag out of it and put the mother in the bag while shes having the babies and into the fry tank and the babies slip through the holes in the bag ok. and when shes done put here back in her tank but this is only for livebearers is what it said. dont know if this is any help.
