I've been a little dormant on here lately (been busy with my new snake) but Im starting to rearrange my tanks now. Im getting rid of the rest of my africans tommorow and my 125g is completely free. Im also get a monster red devil tommorow. The conflict comes in with when I freed up my 125g I wanted to move my SA community to the 125g. So now I can't decide where to put each setup. The SA community is in a 75g.

Ditch the Red Devil and put the SA community in the 125. Red Devils are boring.

A planted South American community tank is much more impressive than a big, bare tank with one cichlid in it.

I'm not your neighbor, you Bakersfield trash.

Gonna have to say i agree with the beautiful, insightful, talented and wonderful nnataliee here. One cichlid is boring. a 125 is way too cool of a tank to waste on cichlids. Get a nice little community goin' where you can actually watch and not get bored in the first 10 seconds.

greenmonkey, ignore those above me and put the red devil in the 75 and the SA setup in the 125. out of curiosity, what does your SA community consist of?

ps. you might add about l0-12 tiger barbs as dithers/feeders for the red devil

I put him in the 125g for now. My SA community is pretty basic. Just some tetras, cories, BNs, rams, and festivum. I figure it wont be that hard to switch the setups around if need be.

glad to hear you got the big guy and he's doing ok. the main reason I suggested moving the SA community to the 125 is because then you could add more fish to the community.
