	Yet another fish and pain question.....

I recently traced some itch in my tank to Excel. I knew it was one of several ferts I was using and did a process of elimination and there's no doubt the Excel was the culprit. They would rub against leaves, airline and so on. It would last maybe an hour after putting it in.

Think about it, rats can gnaw off they're own foot. They can't feel the same amount of pain as us. I'd think a fish would have a very primitave nervous system. Maybe they can feel some things, but I doubt they can feel "pain" as we interpret it.
