Doing a quick look shows ...Treat with MelaFix or PimaFix. If treatment seems ineffective, treat with Furan 2 or Triple Sulfa. to be the recommended treatment for dropsy. My cases with dropsy is that once a fish is pineconeing and showing symptoms treating with something as mild melafix often wont help. They give the same suggestion of melafix for a number of other ones which IME should be treated with something stronger.[/font]
