Is it a planted tank? What type of fish? Are the fish mature of juveniles?

If it's a planted tank, lights 10 - 12 hours would be fine. If not, just whenever you want to view the tank, or a 12 on, 12 off cycle would be ok too. I feed my fish two good feedings a day.

I have my tank lights on 12 hrs a day using an automatic timer. I feed once a day early in the morning usually within one hr of the lights coming on. The extras can be fed any time
Have a look in [link=My Profile]http://www.fishprofiles.com/interactive/forums/profile.asp?userid=6741" style="COLOR: #00FF00[/link] for my tank info

That will explain my feeding program. I never feed on day I do the weekly tank maintainence.

I hope this info helps you.

I will disagree there are some with more knowledge that I ever will have. The only difference is I have experience as my teacher.

Thank you a reply like that is appreciated.

as for feeding goes. they say that you give them as much as they can eat in a few minutes. 1-2 a day. deeping on your filtration i guess.
