I have had one for 7 years with 6 cory's(39 gallon). Give him a place to call his own and he will be okay. He used to chase a gourami that would get near his cave. Today he lets other fish in there with him.

Theresa,
I have a fairly young (2 inch) size Rainbow shark I got about 2 months ago. He seems to call the top curl of my driftwood his territory. He never quarrels with the corys, false flying fox, or Siamese algae eaters (thought he might due to shape similarity). The only fish he seems to dislike is a female leopard danio, who finds it great fun to tease him then speed off like a jet.
I dont think you will have a problem with corys, mine doesnt even notice them or the USD cats or the imitator cat at all.

There would be no problem with keeping him with cories. Make sure he has a cave for himself (maybe throw a few caves in there so that the cories can jack a few too), and all will be well...

PM/email/msg me if you have any questions/comments regarding me or my knowledge or if you want me to read a thread.

a quick and easy way that I have found for caves is coconut shells cut in half, a door cut into them...

I don't have the RTBS but the corries, clown loaches, and bns and they love the little coconut shells...

I also think it is going to depend on the size of tank that you are trying to put him in as well Theresa, if you try and plunk him into a little 10 gallon tank (we know you wouldn't) with corries; yes he will have a fit. But if you were to plunk him into my 125 where he could say this is my corner go away, then he would probably be fine, that and the personality of the fish...Try it, keep a close eye on him, if he goes bizark, yank him out...

Best of luck, heidi michelle
