fishyhelper288,

When you say "pest" snails what type do you mean? Ramshorn?

Wow, so those little snails you find in your tank grow big and colourful? my polkadots and crab are doing a good job then my crab crushes them.
How big do they grow? I want to do it.

Just put a couple of Snails in your tank & they will multiply within a few weeks. Remember that they are Pests & it would be difficult to get rid of them.

ok, i put certin snails together and they breed, i save the eggs, and wait for the m to grow bigg enough to see what color they will be, reg colored snails either go outside, i feed them to somthing else, or the little ones get smushed, but im not fond of smushing or when i clean out the snail tank, i get the ones i want, and take the plants out, and alot of eggs dry out, and i loose babys, and occationaly some adults i missed, but it keeps the other snail population down, im still working on streangthining the strain, im still geting regular colors in with my yellow babys, but they are getting fewer

You don't breed pest Snails, they just breed on their own & multiply really fast.

I am trying to breed some Apple Snails, but till today i only saw cluches of eggs & no small Snails.

Some pond snails came in on an order of plants I had gotten a few months ago. At first I thought I'd try to get rid of them all at once, but then i realized my yo-yo loaches go nuts for 'em. Now I let them breed in my shellie tank, and every now and then my laoches get a big treat

Back in the saddle!
