given the right tank size, would their be a problem with a young silver and a young jardini living together.

and a nother question, what is better a sliver or jardini, again given the tanksize.

impossible..the jardini will kill the silver aro. well, if you want tankmates, then go for the much more silver..but if you want a killing machine..then go for the jardini.how big is the tank btw?

no tank/fish yet. still planning.

i might go with a jardin b/c of its smaller size, but a neg would be its aggression.

ya..its virtually impossible to keep a jardini with any other fish.although the jardini is small..its recommended to keep one in at least a 150gallon tank.

With a 2' fish and a 4' foot fish, both fiercely territorial, occupying the same narrow strata of a tank, you'd need an enormous system to avoid agression. I'm sure it could be done, but not in a conventional tank.
I've noticed that you make very many posts about big fish. You must have a ginormous house

FYI, silver aros arent aggressive.they'll do fine with basically any fish which arent fin nippers and arent small enough to fit into the arowana's mouth. jardini however, is virtually impossible to mix with any fish due to it's aggression.

parrots?its not a good idea because the parrot is territorial.u wont want to see your silver's fins get ruined by it.

i think it will all right, depending on the size of the silver. but if their are any problems the arowana would probably be moved into a holding tank untill a decision can be made.

the parrot will harrass the silver
i used to breed parrots any that i couldnt sell id feed to my silver the juvis that is theyd try to rip a fin thered b a swirl and no more parrot
to me a silver is much more elegant and easier to find compatible tank mates
i ended up keeping mine with a 20" clown knife it was a nice setup
