Like most fish inbreeding, up to a point, is not considered a huge issue. It is good to outbreed every few generations and avoid mother-son, father-daughter breeding. It is more important to only breed from the best specimens and strictly avoid any with deformities.

Getting a batch of eggs and breeding the siblings is the way many people go.
