There are actually quite a few, if you stick to the smaller cichlids. Like Kribs, Convicts, Rams, shell dwellers, ect. As long as the cichlids are small enough not to eat the barbs, they will be fine. The 55 offers a lot of room for the smaller cichlids as well, a lot of room for the barbs to run and play up off the bottom. As the smaller cichlids usually stay closer to the bottom of the tank, and the barbs are usually more out in the open areas free swimming.

Convicts or Jewels for sure . Keyholes or Rams are too docile for barbs.

If you go with some of the jewels, get the smaller type species, like the lafallili. The larger jewels get about 6+ inches, while the smaller ones stay about 3 inches or so, depending on which species. The smaller ones are usually more colorful, and take up less space, territories, and less biological waste.

Jewels are another good choice.

Keyholes are not to passive to be with barbs, i am successfully keeping 4 keyholes with 10 tiger barbs at the moment, and they are doing just fine, also, if the keyholes are young when they are introduced, then the male will not have developed long fins yet, so as the fins grow, which they will do slowly, the tb's shouldn't notice them
