kitten Fish Guru Meow? Posts: 2266 Kudos: 2194 Votes: 19 Registered: 18-Nov-2003	Actually, no, you shouldn't use FD bloodworms as a staple food because they're not nutritionally balanced. Using them as a primary food can lead to constipation and other such "fun" things. I generally use a good quality betta pellet (HBH or Hikari) as a staple food and then alternate with bloodworms and a betta flake food to give them variety. And then maybe once a week, I throw in something nummy as a treat. Seems to work well and my bettas are happy. ~Meow. Thus spoke the cat.~

I have tried something new with my fish lately. Earthworm flake, they love it..I use it as a treat only. ___________________________________________ If at first you DO succeed, try not to look astonished.
