is there such thing or is there another fish like this?(the fish I saw was like a guppy only it had amazingly blue shiny eyes), I think the lady said it was in a kiwi familiy or something like that

EDIT:

It's possible that you were looking at a "lamp-eyed killifish". These come from Africa, and have really amazing blue eyes --along with a little, slim whitish body. They tend to swim near the surface, and they've started turning up more frequently in fish stores. (In my experience, they're moderately delicate.)

Most fish need a heater and a filter, even in a 5 gallon tank. If you bought an eclipse or a minibowl, it should have been included. I think you can have 3 in a 5 gallon.

they're not that expensive, if you buy one for a 5-gallon, it only costs about $15 or so

Dude, where did you find it?

I've been looking for killies for YEARS around Sydney, and the one guy who i did find, moved to Malawi.

Another thing to check is that they aren't Pacific Blue Eyes, as they also have incredibly blue eyes, and IME are far more common than Killifish in Australia (they are natives)

Ahh, Parramatta is the magic word, it most probably is a Killi, thats where the only supplier i know of used to be, maybe the new owners have carried it on
