I have a twenty nine gallon tank. I have six neon tetras in it. I would like to know if it is easier to breed tiger barbs or neons. I would like to get any info and/or your preference or stories. thanks Gerber

From what I've heard the tiger barbs would be a lot easier to get to breed and raise the fry. I never did anything special and I got them to breed.

never bred barbs but neons rnt that easy
it took me awhile to get them to breed n even longer to get successful hatchings
the fry r very hard to raise they require 3 weeks of darkness n r hard to feed changn water conditions r the major factor
it took me bout 6 months to get things rite n i was gettin a few hundred fry every couple months
in total i figure i had in excess of over 4000 fry in a year but then i sold them all off
its not easy but rewarding if successful as there not the easiest to breed by far
