Any time a fish is moved from one tank to another, it will be timid and hide for the first fews days. I call it the "sulking period". If it goes on for more than a week, or if they don't eat in the next 3 days or so, then I'd start to be concerned. Joe Potato ![]() |

In a few days, they'll be Ok. Make sure that they'll eat. http://www.deathbydyeing.org/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/corydoras/ Member of the Malta Aquarist Society - 1970. http://www.maltaaquarist.com |

Posts: 2623 Kudos: 2462 Votes: 337 Registered: 29-Mar-2003 ![]() | I've found that even if it is me moving the tank, and having to take them out of the tank to move it, ie, my 29 gallon they do this the first few days. So yes it is normal. Turn out the lights (helps to relieve the stress) and don't worry, they will be their normals selves in a day or two, but don't forget to feed them. Tomorrow turn the light back on as though everything is normal...have fun, they'll love the new tank soon enough...Heidi PS Joe, I love the new colors!!! ![]() "I've got a great ambition to die of exhaustion rather than boredom."
