hello!

i currently have two 5G set up exclusively for killies... on holds a pair of notho's (guntheri, i believe) and one holds a threesome of "rocket killies" (pseudoepiplatus annulatus).

however, these tanks are being slightly neglected due to the fact that i have to keep them in my basement...

anyhow, i was just wondering if i could possibly incorporate these fish into one of my other community tanks: 1 29G and 1 55G.

the 29G holds 5 aphyosemion australes, 4 checkered barbs, 3 rams, 1 yoyo loach, 1 queen botia and 1 rainbowfish.

the 55G holds 4 harlequin rasboras, 5 bleeding heart tetras, 5 checkered barbs, 1 pearl gourami, 1 gold gourami, 2 panda cories and 5 assorted platties.

let me know what you think!

the n.guentheri would prefer salt to keep healthy but other than that, they done well in a community tank for me. the annulatus are a bit small and i'm not sure if the rams would pick on them.

niggit, where did you find your rocket killies? i've seen photos of them online but I can't find them in the stores. do they stock them in the stores in your area? or did you have to order them online?

btw, i hope your killies are doing well in their new abodes.

I would not mix any killis, even in the 55 gal tank. As many will fight.

As for the pseudoepiplatus annulatus, try looking for the "clown killifish" as they are more commonly known as. Also, check on the AKA (American Killifish Association) webpage, as they are often offered for sale; http://www.aka.org/
