There were no available tanks to place the fish in, as most were inhabited by long finned, peaceful species. Here's how it went, in approximately the same order and over a period of, say, 20 mintues: the puffer in question was introduced the mbuna came over and tried to swallow it the puffer inflated the mbuna continued to attempt to swallow it, but to no avail two days later, the puffer was chasing the mbuna around the tank, nipping at it. Puffers as a rule just don't do well with most fish. |
